FM: New York and The Skyscrapers

This is a 2D fridge magnet. Truly awesome one. The lights of the Big Apple making the city glitter. Tho not exactly one of the wroking trips Izwan made that I terribly approve of. Haha. Ada cerita ni, sebenarnya. Simply said: Parl Savoy, North Bergen!!!
Tho I must say that I wish is has trip to that side of the world soon. Yeah, handbags and chocolates and new fridge magnets, what else? Oh yeah, clothes for the kids. Otherwise we probably have to go shopping in Bandung and Jakarta again Heh!!

Love All Over New York

New York is a wonderful city. I think Izwan had quite a good time during his work assignment there last year. Walks at Central Park etc.
*grins at a personal joke*
.
He brought home quite a number of fridge magnets.
.
.
I am always amazed with beautiful NY pictures, esp night time snapshots.
.
.
But this one, is totally mine and I love it!

I Love New York

Izwan went to New York earlier this year. Definitely the only trip he had made (so far) which I don't really like. Hahaha.

But he did buy the love magnets. He bought several of them, and I love these magnets!

Hypnotic-cally-not

Haryati gave me this souvenir - she got it in Rochester, New York last month. So cute, it is the size of our ten sen coin. When I first got it, I thought I brought it home. When I couldn't find it in the paperbag, I looked everywhere. Including under the car seats. Due to its size, I was worried that I might have lost it. It turned out that the little thingy was (is) safe and sound on my white board at the office.

An Apple A Day Keeps The Doc Away

A shiny metal magnet, featuring an apple, or Big Apple, the nick name for New York.
But one of the shiny inedible apples are now sitting on my mother's fridge back in JB. So, only one is left on our fridge right now. Still, she's one stunning shiny apple.

Let's Get Drunk

This is one of my latest acqisition. A gorgeous, absolutely breathtaking magnetic bottle opener; featuring the Manhattan skyline on a bottle cap.

I took trouble with the background color and I can't decide which is better. So I uploaded both.

Another not-so-side-profile of the fridge magnet. One thing for sure, this one won't be opening any bottles. It is far too valuable to use it for anything else but decoration.

Escape to New York

Let's escape to New York, watch the stars above the bright lights of New York as you walk towards the Chrysler Tower.

Or you can ogle my brand new New York fridge magnet.
It is made out of porceline (spell check, please). A pretty 2D magnet.

Lady Liberty

Here is Lady Liberty, in all her glory, bronzed and standing proud in front of New York's concrete jungle.

It's a 2D magnet. It is very classy. One of my latest acquisition, thanks to Izwan's most recent trip amidst the swine flu scare!

Braggin'

Oh well, my darling husband just came back from his work trip to New York. Apart from my coaches, he also bought these:

Tho not all belong to me, I am still very very grateful that he let me own most of them. Yeyyy!! He must have spent over USD100 fr the NY magnets alone. Plus, he also got me some magnets from Stockholm!

Thank you, thank you, sayang

9/11

Izwan bought this magnet on his way to Orlando where there was a 'pit stop' at JFK Airport in New York. This magnet is to commemorate the brave men from the New York Fire Department vis-a-vis the 9/11 tragedy. Here is a pic of the JFK Airport:
The runway at JFK:
And these are of the 9/11 itself. Pic on the left is of the collapse of the South Tower.

WTC 1973-2001

Iizwan bought this magnet during his syopover at New York JFK Airport in 2006. His trip was to Orlando, through New York. He didn't get to see the city, for he was confied to just the airport. But suffice that I got some lovely NY magnets. It cost him USD$4.25, actually.

Oh, and don't try to spot the difference between the magnet(s) above and below. It's the same. I cannot decide which colour provides the better background.
