FM 557 - 559 : Elephants of Krabi

I bought these cute shiny elephants at one of the shops selling pretty ornaments (read: stuff you don't need) by the Aonang Beach.
It is quite unfortunate that they are not that cheap but well, I can be greedy and want to buy a lot of things in bulk, especially if they are cute.
I bought them in a set of five and I am keeping them in this set. Let's call it a triplet :)
Krabi has wonderful beaches, especially if one goes island hopping. The water, the sky, the greens. It made you drop your jaw most of the time.

If you do not know, William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet was based in Verona. One of Shakespeare's early comedies was titled The Two Gentlemen of Verona.

This is one of the fridge magnets I received from Mimi Hafiza, one of the major contributors to my collection. One of the friends I am blessed with.
She and her family went to Holland for a holiday and I, as usual, stand to reap the benefit.
She sent this to me together with the first Longchamp bag I bought from her but I only received it from Onnair with the delivery of the second Longchamp bag. It was worth the wait.

From a small village in the east coast of Scotland (in Fife), where fish and chips are so famous (so it claims, I have yet to sample it), comes this little fridge magnet.

Wollaton House is a country house standing on a small but prominent hill in Wollaton, Nottingham, England.
Just in her backyard, I suppose. Not sure if I will ever go there but suffice for the time being, some momentos from that place :)

We went to Universal Studios Singapore for the very first time on Monday 30 May 2011. It was quite a good trip. Kinda warm. OK, hot, actually. But more importantly, it was not raining. That'll spoil our day but no, it was warm. Hot, I mean.
One of favourite rides was Revenge of the Mummy. We went on it twice. And later, I shopped for some new fridge magnets.
Come to think of it, I have not taken the pics of the fridge magnets from USS which Izwan bought early last year, before the park was open to public. Oh well, let's be up to date and showcase the new ones:
