Told ya this one is big!!
And the hotel where we stayed. Pangkor Island Beach Resort. Room 468.
And this picture his wife took and put up on her blog.
We took the kids to Langkawi; and bought this magnet at the souvenir centre near Gunung Mat Cincang. The hotel wants you to experience the romance of Italy in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. It offers enchanting atmosphere of this all-suite Las Vegas hotel resort. There are 19 remarkable restaurants and 80 international boutiques of The Grand Canal Shoppes! We did roam around and had dinner at the Venetian during our trip in 2006 and I remember Tasha was very impressed with the decor. Who knows, we might even go there again, say... in ten years? hehe

This magnet was a souvenir from Izwan's colleague, Rozana. She went to Amsterdam for a business trip. I have placed it on the hotspot on my fridge. Here are some pics and info in the famous (or is it infamous?) red light district.

Izwan & I have been there, during our honeymoon (we had two, one local - Pulau Redang and we went to Europe a few months later, prezzie from my in-laws). That was the first time I see a meat market in the flesh and openly 'on sale' too.
Welcome to Cape Town. Many thanks to Hisham for choosing this as a souvenir! The pic on the magnets shows the Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to the city bowl, with its plateau over 1,000 m (3,300 feet) high; it is surrounded by near-vertical cliffs, Devil's Peak and Lion's Head. Sometimes a thin strip of cloud forms over the mountain, and owing to its appearance, it is colloquially known as the "Tablecloth". My friend Yusof went there several (or many??) years ago and he was one of the lucky ones who actually witnessed the tablecloth formation.
I bought this ship in Lumut, Perak, on the way backhome from Pulau Pangkor trip. Here's a pic of Izwan & the children on board the boat/ship towards Pulau Pangkor. Mula-mula rileks aje, lepas tu Hafiz terus berdengkur.....
This gorgoues magnet was purchased by Onnair - in Italy, of course. It is the italian word for Florence, the capital city of the Italian region of Tuscany, Italy. Yes, they are not mere names of perfumes, you know.

Here's a collection of four Los Angeles car plate number we have bought since our visit visit in 1999 and the most recent trip Izwan made in 2007. Ladies & Gentlemen, from 88 right up to 91:
Where from: Los Angeles, USA
Where from: Los Angeles, USA

This is the oldest of the lot. I bought it in 1999; Izwan & I first visit to USA; kinda controversial as they were confrontations (or was it total avoidance?) with third parties. Anyway it was a great trip.
Thanks to Grace, this magnet is now sitting comfortably in my office. She & hubby Sathish went for the trip mid last year. Here's a picture of Angkor Wat you often see. And below that, an aerial picture of Angkor Wat... a picture you don't see often.
At the center of Angkor Wat are five towers that represent the five peaks of Mount Meru. The round towers mark out the corners and the center of the innermost square of the complex. Like the mountain peaks they represent, the towers are pointed on top. The pinnacle of each tower is slightly lighter than the surrounding black stone in this image.
